Welcome to the home of Hoover High School Buccaneer Football. The nationally known Bucs lay claim to seven State of Alabama State Championships including 5 this decade, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. The football team is synonymous with State Championships, big games on ESPN and the MTV reality series Two-A-Days. Located in Hoover, Alabama, the Bucs play their home games at Buccaneer Stadium and at Regions Park. The Bucs are under the direction of Head Coach, Josh Niblett.

The Buccaneer football tradition is built on hard work, dedication and respect. The reputation of Buccaneer football is carried forth each year by young men who pledge to Decide, Commit, and Succeed. Their journey as Buccaneers will carry them far in life.

Hoover High School head football coach Josh Niblett has been named head coach of the Alabama All-Stars for next December’s 23rd Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Classic.
